Beginning its activities as a distributor of drilling accessories, the company quickly began producing its own drilling accessories in 1989, acquiring its very first machining equipment: a manual lathe.
Subsequently, year after year, the company has continued to grow. Adding manufacturing machinery and improving its technical knowledge. GeoRocFor became the first Canadian company in history to manufacture down-the-hole hammer drill bits and then, in the early 2000’s, designed its first overburden drilling system. This system quickly became a huge success when introduced in Canada, the United States and Europe.
Thanks to GeoRocFor’s proximity to its users, the company developed several other versions of this system. Each of the specialized versions maximizes drilling efficiency in several areas including artesian wells, foundation drilling, umbrella vaults and geothermal energy. GeoRocFor is proud to see that its competitors are also adopting the path of multiple versions today.
