Xs Bolt-On Diverter
The bolt-on diverter needs to be installed time after time when adding casing
You need to unscrew the top seal, slip the diverter over the drill tube to reach the casing, then the lower collar needs to be bolt-on the casing. Often, the vibration imparted by the hammer will make the bolts to get loose. To prevent that, you need to start the welding machine again to spot weld the collar, thus reducing the vibration on the bolts. Whilst this method is the cheapest initial cost, the operation is labor intensive and time consuming, reducing your drilling performance at the end of the day.
